Tomato Onion Brussels

This dish not only contains Brussels sprouts which are the best support for our liver as it aids with detoxification, but it contains tomatoes which are full of vitamin C and other antioxidants. A nutrition powerhouse really.

Ingredients

  • 20 brussels – cut into halves or quarters
  • 6-10 baby/vine tomatoes
  • 3 red onions – sliced
  • 1-2 tsp rock salt
  • 1 tbsp mixed spice – Braggs brand
  • pepper
  • 3-4 tbsp olive oil/olive oil spray (your choice)

 

Method

  1. Add brussels halves, onion and tomatoes to a baking dish
  2. Add in the olive oil, mixed spice and salt
  3. Bake in the oven on 180-200 degrees for 45 minutes (I use the bake fan)
