Menu Monday – Fighting the afternoon slump

Whether you’re coming home from school, work or running around doing errands, it’s so easy to fall into the mid-afternoon slump.

Here are some perfect ways to boost your energy levels (but keep you satisfied until dinner) with a wholesome afternoon tea – start your Monday by trying to get into these good habits and you’re more likely to carry them on through the week.

 

  1. Stay hydrated! I say this over and over again because it’s so easy to forget how important water is for our bodies. Often dehydration is mistaken for hunger and can make our bodies feel even more exhausted.Try stocking your fridge with my homemade vitamin water – so simple and can be done in the morning as you’re making brekky!

 

  1. Make a smoothiemy power protein smoothie is my go-to fav on this one. If you’ve had a lighter lunch and are needing something more substantial, a protein-enriched snack is where to go. So simple and takes a few minutes to make!

 

  1. Take a few slices of my coconut and almond slice and share with your besties at work over a yummy cup of herbal tea
