When creating meal plans in clinic, I talk to my clients about this. “What I’m writing here for you to eat – can you eat this today and for life?”
Healthy living is a lifestyle, plain and simple.
If there was a diet that worked – we would all be on it, right?
Diets give us short term results, if any at all. Think about it: are you able to maintain it for life? Probably not. Then what’s the point? A wholefoods diet is the only thing that seems to work in the longterm.
Diets have caused us to have a very complicated relationship with food. I see the devastating effects of diets because I work with severe eating disorder patients in clinic. Many are on the brink of death. My goal is to teach young teenagers balance with food – exactly what I explore in The Healthy Life.
Balance with food is what allows us to have a healthier and happier life.
