My Magical Getaway at Billabong Retreat, Sydney

A couple of weeks ago I found myself in desperate need of a quick, wholesome getaway to clear my mind after having written my online program.

 

I was so excited to discover a magical retreat just 45 minutes away from my home. Billabong Retreat is nestled above a billabong making it the ultimate place for a bit of relaxation in nature – a place for mind and body healing.

 

I highly recommend this gorgeous spot, especially for Sydney siders. It’s quaint, serene, tropical and connects you to nature.

It’s simple but with everything you would need. The highlights for me was the yoga each morning and afternoon, run by Natalie.

Not to mention, the organic food options were delicious and all vegetarian. It was served buffet style – simple and clean. You feel so good after eating it. I really enjoyed being plant-based for two days while cleansing on my signature 3-Day Liver Reboot (found in the JSHealth Program).

Breakfast was a hot option and cold option but you could have both. Hot option was a frittata with a divine avocado salad and the best tamari mushrooms. and there was always an amazing gluten free granola with fruit too.

I absolutely loved my room – the rooms are simple but you don’t need much more. I was lucky enough to have a room with an outdoor bath. If you are someone who is sensitive to heat, request air con is my suggestion.

I just loved being able to switch off, go into the JSHealth SFZ and read my book out on the verandah.
