Best restaurant for a healthy dinner?


Crossroads Kitchen on Melrose: Fine dining vegan food. Dim lights and fabulous ambiance. This place proves just how elegant and tasty healthy food can be.

Plant Food and Wine by Mathew Kenney. Delicious and health conscious food. This place is incredible. With a seasonally crafted menu and locally sourced organic ingredients – you are in for a treat. Sit back and relax in the outside courtyard in Venice. You feel like you are in sitting in a luxury Italian villa while being served elegant plant based dishes and biodynamic wine.



Gjelina in Venice – I love the sea bass and all of the sides! Love the artichokes, cauliflower, kale salad and carrots! Delicious, fresh and wholesome.



Best Juice Bar:

Moon Juice – Wholesome and refreshing tonic and juice bar – you feel healthy just being in the bar itself.  These juices are incredibly nutritious.



Is there such thing as a healthy taco? If so, where can we get it?

The best plant based vegan tacos around!!!!!!!


Best hike?


Runyon Canyon 

… LA! Enjoy a hike before your days starts. It is such a invigorating hike and a great place to hang out with the locals!



Best hotel for wellness


Four Seasons Beverly Hills  Their wellness menus are truly impressive. I try my best to find a hotel that can cater to my needs and this does just that. Rooms can be pricey but well worth it if you are looking to wake up to a truly delicious and healthy breakfast. It is an absolute treat!



Best farmer’s market?


Melrose Place on Sundays in West Hollywood. I love grabbing a coffee from Alfred’s coffee and strolling down the Farmers Markets. The berries at this market are something special….

Love trying all the healthy treats on offer. Such a great vibe on a sunny Sunday.


Best health food store?


Erewhon  No doubt. I get lost in the aisles. Prepare to be in there for a long time if you are a health nut.



Best health/beauty treatment?


Wi Spa – Korean spa bath.

Enjoy hot and cold baths with progressive sauna rooms. Add a massage, body scrub, or facial. This spa takes the concept of a “day spa” to a whole new level.




Love to meditate?


The Den – This is the place to learn mindfulness and meditation.



Healthy ice-cream


Pressed Juicery – Freeze. Delicious almond based froyo – drizzle over dark chocolate and almond butter!!!




Kippy’s ice-cream – healthy vegan ice-cream. I love the cinnamon flavour!

Hi Jessica, I believe in synchronicity so when I was guided to you .on FB I was intrigued and inspired. I turned 46 last week and my husband bought me your book. I wanted to thank you for sharing your wisdom in such a beautifully presented way. My  copy is now filled with tabs and post it notes with actual notes throughout. I am dairy intolerant since having my gallbladder removed 15+ years ago, I don't eat meat, very minimal gluten and was told 12 months ago my gut was not digesting my food properly so I wasn't receiving sufficient nutrients and taking supplements would be a waste of time.  My weight fluctuates tending to gain rather than lose but now I believe I have a tool to help me bring my body back into balance that I need for my health and longevity of life - so again thank you. The first few steps to creating a stronger path forward for my health has found its foundation in your beautiful book, The Healthy Life.

When I started my studies, I was drinking lots of coffee and I was eaten the wrong foods, and feel bad about it, I wasn't at my best. I searched for help and tips through the Internet and found Jessica Sepel.
