Where to stay…
When I visit the beautiful city of Cape Town, Seapoint, Camps Bay and Bantry Bay are my favourite areas.
Some gorgeous spots to stay in these areas are:
For a relaxing weekend, I head to the wine country. If you would love a luxurious experience, La Residence is just magical (and a fav of Elton John!). Otherwise, there is a very cute little B&B in Franschoek called ‘Goodings Grove’.
Where to eat…
My favourite breakfast spots are NU Café in Seapoint (health spot), Bootlegger Coffee and Knead.
The Wellness Warehouse cafe is also delicious and they have an incredible health food store attached – you must try the sexy burgers J
For lunch, I head to Willoughby’s Sushi, Giovanni’s (delicious gourmet deli food!), Caprice or The Grand.
Babel is a health experience you will never forget – an incredible wine estate that grows organic produce. They have an incredible restaurant on the premises where you eat the fresh produce – mostly wholefoods. Its special.
For dinner, I am always spoilt for choice in Cape Town! The Dutchess is my favourite- an incredible ambience and homemade food. Otherwise, Italian Pop Up, Koi, Pot Luck Club, Manos or Carne (THE best steak in Cape Town) are beautiful.
Where to drink…
Orchard St have the yummiest fresh juices! In fact – the best fresh juices I have had in a while. For sunset cocktails I head to Caprice and Shimmy Beach Club is the best club in Cape Town.
What to do…
There are so many beautiful things to do in Cape Town!
I love to walk on the Clifton Beach Promenade in the morning and at sunset or to climb Lions Head and Table Mountain.
For some down time I enjoy yoga at Hot Dog Yoga in Seapoint, relax at The Bay Hotel Pool or have a massage at The Twelve Apostles Hotel.
I love to have a picnic lunch on Clifton Beach with food from Giovanni’s deli that I mentioned above.
I also recommend visiting Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned or visiting the penguins at Boulders Beach- so cute!
The Wine Countries are a must visit. My favourites include Del Aire, Tokara, Babel (a health wine country!!) or Le Motte.
Where to shop…
The delicious food market at the Biscuit Mill is a must. For fashion shopping, the Waterfront is stunning. For everyday food shopping, Woolworths, The Spa and Checkers are very affordable options.
Where to have fun…
My favourite thing to do is to walk along Clifton Promenade first thing in the morning, and then lie on Clifton Beach for the Sunset. For lunch, I love to visit the Wine Countries- Babel is a health wine farm, definitely a highlight!
Where to hide out…
Truthfully, I have to recommend The Ambassador pool with its stunning pool and incredible sunset. I love to lie there with a drink and some sushi to watch the sunset. It’s special and secluded, and very relaxing.
